Re: Blurinator 9000 - Blur simulation software

Being an open source project -- if any developers are reading this -- keep in mind the PixPerAn style adjustments can be somewhat easily added: http://www.blurbusters.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/pixperan-streaky-pictures.png And/Or the proposed GtG math formulas provided by SkepticMatt made in Ma...

Re: Unable to reduce input lag with VSYNC OFF and uncapped FPS with DLP projector.

All of this is normal. You are just unfamiliar with how a DLP refreshes. It does NOT have such a thing as a traditional scanout. And yes, camera sensor scan speed can be a factor. It's complicated with applications that don't have a true fullscreen mode. Not sure if browsers do that now or not. But ...

Close enough, the name is about the Beam Synchronized Processor of the Amiga called "Copper". I'm aware of your work since I use WinUAE and currently learning how to program on the Amiga :D . I use the BeamRaced feature sometimes however it jitters on my 2010ish mid range laptop even at 4 slices......

Very interesting observation about the FreeSync range controlling LFC behaviour with this implementation of NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible.

Re: Hacked ASUS VG279QM modified to single-strobe 60 fps capped VRR for emulators

tried all sorts of range limits, the panel with just go into LFC mode if any low framespikes occur and LFC usually gets stuck on until you go back to 240hz and back down again. LFC should only be sticky over a narrower range -- like about 20Hz-ish. But even with that, it may be sticky until above 6...

Re: Forcing PC games to max refresh

Another trick is 1920x1078 or 1920x1079 with only one refresh rate. (Create the custom resolution)

This works if you can disable scaling (so things don't go fuzzy).

Any game configured to use the custom resolution will be forced to use the only refresh rate available for that resolution.

Re: New Framelag after OS reinstall that won't go away

1. What monitor are you using? About 1%-5% have a frameskipping issue that requires some tweaks.

2. Did you try complete graphics driver uninstall/reinstall?

3. Are you using multimonitor? Try disabling all monitors and/or making 144Hz the primary. Different-Hz multimonitor is a big problem.

Re: Confused about response time charts.

I specifically confused about the middle charts for both OD settings. For 20 OD it shows for Total Response Time (ms) that the average is 8.0 and the Dark Average is 9.1. But for 40 OD which they claim is better, it actually has a higher delay at 12.3 Average and 15.6 Dark Average which is what is ...

Re: Space heaters possible damage to computer/electricity

No way that heaters can cause this lag. My heater is not connected to the socket but I still have this lag. It's definitely teeth implants, not heater. Stop trolling. Your warning. Rules will be enforced. Hello, i have been using a strong heater next to my computer for 6+ months, i only turn it up ...

Re: Confused about response time charts.

I am confused why they said that 40 OD is the best setting if the total response time is nearly double the 20 OD setting. Am I reading the chart wrong? The last chart is not response time. The last chart is overshoot error in percentage. Sometimes the overshoot is very faint (as the 2nd chart says)...
