Dang, sorry to hear that. It's a pain to have dead pixels like that. I'm happy to report that mine has been going strong and running perfectly since I posted this. (I know it doesn't help you but I thought I'd update the others).

Hence why I got a refund for my PG259QN and got the Alienware instead! Haven't had a single issue with that one. Historically Asus has been decent but I feel they rushed things with the PG259QN to be the first to claim the 360hz... and they cut corners. A LOT of corners.

I saw the review above and I cringe every time he speaks about himself. "Essentially, what you should know is that I'm really good". WHO SAYS THAT! And once again, Shroud is also really good but doesn't know much about monitors. In terms of settings, I actually found "fastest" to be the best setting...

That's a great question, while I did have the calibration sheet with the Asus, colors still seemed off. Perhaps it was saturation, brightness or contrast related.

Yep, having used both, it now feels as if Asus really rushed to get to market first to be 'the first 360hz' monitor while Alienware (Dell) spent their time refining it and creating a proper product with the same panel. My Alienware AW2521H 360hz monitor is scheduled to arrive tomorrow (replacing my PG259QN). Hopefully it makes it (and isn't delayed).
