Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S Owners Thread
Yeah so the middle part has very little crosstalk (can't notice it at all). The top and bottom had some until I used VT to minimize it. It looks exaggerated w/the video I took since the camera was right on the monitor. I'll try to create an optimal DyAC profile at 100 Hz when I have some time later ...

Re: Which 240hz 1080p to get for Battle Royals?
I wrestled with the same dilemma as you OP. I finally settled on the BenQ xl2746S as I can't stand 24.5" monitors (too small). The <10 ppi difference is so negligible that it made no sense to me to get the 24.5" xl2546s. I currently have a 4 year old Asus PG278Q so when the BenQ arrives next month ...

Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S
I finally got the display in today! I haven't gamed with it yet so my initial impressions are simply based on what I'm seeing on a 2D desktop and using UFO motion tests. Brightness: Seems decent, not a whole lot brighter than my Asus PG278Q which is from 2014. It's definitely not as bright as the Gi...

Re: XL2746S vs XL2546S
Did anyone test if this monitor does dyac (Benq blur reduction) single strobe at 60hz refresh rate? Single strobing at 60hz will be EXTREMELY obvious--there will be very noticeable backlight flicker compared to 100hz. and the Alien Invasion Test UFO page will look glass smooth with 60hz blur reduct...

Re: how "bad" really is 27" 1080p compared to 25" ?
If you watch the pros play on 24.5" monitors it looks INCREDIBLY uncomfortable. They slide all the way up to the desk w/their diaphragms pushing against the table and they are sitting straight or even sometimes lean in just to be able to see all the pixels. Who the hell would want to game that way ...

Assume you've already read - Motion Blur Reduction FAQ - Crosstalk FAQ - Blur Busters Strobe Utility If you messed up - Run ToastyX "reset-all.exe" (removes all your Large Vertical Totals) - Use monitor's "Factory Reset" feature. And you can easily start over again. Some quick pointers. 1. Strobe t...
