Re: Is G-Sync still worth it or should I go FreeSync?

I think for LCD's, G-Sync will still be superior due to the variable overdrive which as far as I know, no other adaptive sync has. Now for something like the new Alienware OLED coming out, it doesn't matter. The pixels are extremely quick and you don't need any of this overdrive nonsense like you do...

Ya I think full sample-and-hold VRR smoothness will win out versus needing to lock FPS at 120 at 4K to get smooth 25% BFI. 25% BFI isn't that huge of a deal.

Re: NVIDIA to Support FreeSync (VESA Adaptive Sync)

HUGE news. I like that you can flip the switch anyway. I think support for HDMI 2.1 VRR in their next GPU architecture should be in the bag.

Confirmed full spec HDMI 2.1! As soon as HDMI 2.1 GPU's hit, a C9 OLED will be mine. Bye bye computer monitors.

So that means 2ms MPRT motion clarity at 4k 120 Hz smoothness all with OLED HDR picture quality. 13 ms input...
