I got a headache looking at UFOs with ULMB on, but it's the first monitor that I've had that had strobing. I'll give it another shot at lower refresh rates maybe.

So what I use now for competitive gaming is 280hz refresh rate + ELMB (with VRR disabled), at 280hz I don't really notice tearing even in the 220-280fps range. The strobe duration last 1ms compared to ELMB-Sync's 2ms, which is surprisingly long enough to remove crosstalk and idk if it's placebo but...

There's a big thread about 240Hz IPS monitors, you can start there. I got a 280Hz IPS, but maybe that's too fast for you, since you specified 240?
