Re: The Official *MSI Optix MAG251RX* Owners Thread
Hello, this is my first post here, because a im looking for further opinions or help. I am an older gamer (early 30s) and I'm still playing FPS kind of competitively. That being said i have played Q3 on a CRT 20 years ago and still miss, how the looked and felt visually back then. In 2012 i decided...

Re: 05/22/2020 UPDATE. The IPS 240hz monitor tier list.(I've measured/tried the all) and my honest explanation why.
If you're really competitive, I don't know if 240hz IPS is even the way to go. I have the MAG251RX and motion clarity is only good if Anti Motion Blur is turned on, and even then there's crosstalk and the screen gets too dim for some people (not for me). I'd like people to compare these IPS to the ...

Yeah, honestly I've got to say - the MAG251RX's fastest setting (there's normal, fast, fastest) is completely unusable. I know that RLCSContender said it's the best but just no. Especially in web browsing it's hurting my eyes a lot. Fast is completely fine though. Also it's even noticeable in games...

Re: Why do Pro gamers not use G-Sync?
You can't deny that no sync is superior overall, with the least possible lag that can be achieved. There is a small difference between G-SYNC and no sync with no fps limit. I don't think I denied that in any of my previous posts here. I was only referring to G-SYNC vs. no sync with framerates insid...

Re: Why do Pro gamers not use G-Sync?
Personally by keeping gsync and vsync off, I have the "feeling" of having more reactivity on the mouse, but as you say, it is very likely that it is my feeling, not a real decrease in lag Again, regardless of raw input lag, the two can still have an overall different "feel," and that's what the set...

I'm pretty sure variable overdrive only works with VRR(G-Sync on) with fixed/G-Sync off you have the 3 options and that's it. I'm still torn on the XB273 X or MAG251RX, heard the Acer works best at normal OD across all hz and the MSI on fast. Might just buy both and test what I like more, even thou...

What about while using the variable overdrive, is the inverse ghosting gone? People were saying the Nitro XV273X is the same monitor or at least panel minus the G-Sync module, not sure how true or accurate that is though but it does score really good on tftcen. Variable overdrive is always in use a...

Did anyone test the XB273 X to see if it's as low GTG as that RLSCScontender say? I see no reviews on it yet, and if that chart is accurate then it's extremely impressive even if it can strobe at 120hz max Seems like there's still not a single test for this monitor online, sadly. I've also been loo...

240 Hz IPS monitors with native G-SYNC
Just a simple question:
Do you know of any other 240 Hz IPS monitor with G-SYNC module except Acer Predator XB273 X? I can't seem to find any. Every other option I find is just G-SYNC Compatible.

Re: BenQ Zowie XL2546 severe inverse ghosting
Return it like ko4 did. Trust me, I was struggling with this problem for about 3 years, and finally got another monitor with better overshoot, color uniformity etc. just ditch out that old ass tn panel and get better one Haha, yeah, I guess it's not that good anymore, it's been around for a while.....
