Re: Apex Legends G-Sync setting and latency
If the game is capping to a number and the onscreen number built into the monitor is higher.. That is wrong just don't use it. Some of them are dodgy. I had a gsync module monitor and it read correct all the time, but now I have a gsync compatible one and sometimes it just shoots up, the game readin...

Re: Lowest input lag settings for competitive fps
Yes so what I said is right though, games with reflex you are better off just having reflex on and maxing your GPU, you will get at the least the same latency as capping below 100% GPU but more likely will get a few fps more. Unless for consistency or another reason and you want to cap to a consist...

Re: Lowest input lag settings for competitive fps
Since Reflex came out haven't most tests shown that you actually get a reduction in input lag by using reflex maxing your gpu, than fps capping it. From what I know it should be the same as in-game limiter. Battle(non)sense made a very good video on this topic - https://youtu.be/7DPqtPFX4xo?t=601. ...

Re: Lowest input lag settings for competitive fps
Too high gpu usage (~98-100%) can significantly increase input lag. Capping framerate till gpu load fluctuates below ~97% (or lower) can help reduce input lag. But I don't think you have those issues with 3090. https://i.ibb.co/qNds1fD/FPS-GPU-Usage-Latency-Relation-Uncappe-Capped.png Since Reflex ...

Re: Lowest input lag settings for competitive fps
Hi, i have been reading all the threads here and wanted to confirm the best settings to get the lowest input lag in cod warzone. hardware specs: i9 10850k 3090 Samsung g7 monitor with gsync (1440p at 240hz) i get around 160-180fps in game these days (used to be more but this goes down every update)...

Re: Can excessive anti-aliasing cause any input lag?
Assuming you're still stable at your frame rate cap, can too much anti-aliasing (or any other graphical settings) add input lag? The reason I ask is because the jagged lines in rocket league are horrible so I've been cranking up the AA a ridiculous amount. Between the configuration files and nvidia...

Re: Can excessive anti-aliasing cause any input lag?
I generally play with it off at 1080p and just deal with the jaggies. I don't know if its input lag but with any type on it feels like it does become a bit more sluggish with the input. (And its not a change in FPS that is causing it). SMAA 1x is usually ok visually as well but anything higher crea...
