Re: First 1440p 240hz monitor! Lenovo Y27gq

I´m not personally excited about this monitor due to its size. Imo 240hz is targeted for e-sports/competitive games. 27 inches is not e-sports friendly and 1440p is defo a resolution I would use on a game like Tomb raider or Metro Exodus, where 240hz are not important, 120hz would do! I´m more exci...

Hey Chief,
First of all thanks for the reply.

Also I've got one more question:
Have you got any idea or rumors on release dates of the new monitors.
I would assume if you had any you would post them, but I'll still ask just in case.

Thanks, I guess. Are there any better panels out there for a better price. I'm still looking for a strobed panel, as I absolutely cannot stand motion blur, espescially since I play Rocket League.

For fast paced shooters you generally want the lowest possible input lag at the highest possible refresh rate. At and higher than 144Hz I'd take a fast stable input lag over higher refresh rate.

Re: Need help choosing right monitor.

I mean the Sony fw900 costs about 1200-1400.
2304 x 1440 at 80 Hz better than any 165 Hz monitor out there.
If you don't notice the flicker you're set to go.

Re: Asus VG278QR , 0.5ms, 165Hz, G-Sync Compatible

There is some difference between the 258 and the 278.
Sometimes the 27 inch model is horrible, but the 24 inch is perfectly fine.
However if you don't notice any problems, then that's all that matters right?

There is no prad review for the VG278QR.
The one that shows up in google seatch is a review of the PG27VQ.
