Re: Questions regarding vbi, vrr and display-source commication.
1-) How does display knows about the frame time of said frame. Does gpu send this information before or after pixel color information. 2-) How about hdr or backlight information is it sent before or after pixel color information 3-) What is the theoric limit for qft like hdmi or display port. I mea...

Re: Nvidia Adaptive 1/2 Refresh V-sync + FPS cap
It doesn't matter, but usually you want something only very slightly above 60 (like 60.01.) In this case, you don't need RTSS for the cap because you can just use the nvidia driver limiter with a cap of 60. I was thinking that lower will be better for games that have in-game 60fps cap that can't be...

Re: Nvidia Adaptive 1/2 Refresh V-sync + FPS cap
I'm going to experiment with QFT. What is the best value to set in CRU 60.000, 59.950 or 59.920? It doesn't matter, but usually you want something only very slightly above 60 (like 60.01.) Re: Nvidia Adaptive 1/2 Refresh V-sync + FPS cap
Thanks for quick answers. Is RTSS much better than Nvidia driver cap, or it's the same, but more precise? It's the same, but it's not suitable for this because it doesn't offer a way to enter fractional values. You need at least 0.01FPS granularity, and the driver limiter doesn't provide a way to d...

Re: Nvidia Adaptive 1/2 Refresh V-sync + FPS cap
I tried FPS cap with RTSS and Nvidia driver, but this alone didn't change much at @120Hz. Game runs perfect with in-game cap and vsync @60hz, but @120Hz judders, however with 1/2 Nvidia vsync it's perfect again. Now the question which set-up has higher input lag: 1. In-game vsync, 60Hz 2. 1/2 Nvidi...

Re: Nvidia Adaptive 1/2 Refresh V-sync + FPS cap
Is is higher if the game's cap is higher than monitor Hz / 2. You should still do the RTSS cap I recommended in post #2.krisdee1981 wrote: ↑04 Feb 2024, 09:59Finally with 1/2 refresh rate + tear control standard I'm getting perfectly smooth experience, but I'm wondering if input lag is now much higher?

Reboot, close all applications that might be starting with Windows (Discord, Skype, Afterburner/RTSS, RGB lighting control software, etc.) Only leave one tab open in the browser.

Re: AOC Q27G3XMN VRR Range
Hi all, I have an AOC Q27G3XMN 1440p monitor with a RTX 4070 Super GPU connected via DisplayPort. As soon as I enabled g-sync I started experiencing the notorious VRR flicker. According to CRU this monitor's VRR range is 48-180Hz. I've been reading forums, etc but cannot figure out what range I sho...

Re: How to prevent consistent interval stuttering during recording?
2. Haven't been able to find the "limit capture framerate" option that can be enabled or disabled. Need a little more information as to where I can find that. It's in the source settings (in the "Sources" panel.) 3. When I do that test, I get a different reading each time I run the test. Run test f...
