Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF

How do i reset this monitor, also if I keep the brightness lower, does it help with motion clarity? for example using lower brightness with ULMB improves motion clarity, does that apply to this monitor if I lower the brightness? does that make sense? Reason why screen is dimmer with VRB is because ...

Re: Owners of Lenovo Y25-25, BenQ XL2546, Omen X27 ?

I think Y25-25 is 2019 IPS panel (same as VG259QM, MAG251RX...), but Im not sure. Get something newer like XG2431 or 24G2ZU / 24G2ZE. S2522HG should be good too.

Re: RTINGS Suggest-a-Monitor

Yup, new testing methodology v1.2.

Response time numbers and overshoot differ compared to v1.1. I can't find info on what is the method. Old tables are nowhere to be found for comparison (same URLs) but i had some info written down.

EDIT:

Test Bench 1.2 Changelog

I'm still absolutely in love with this monitor. If anything, increasingly so with time.
I suggest you make a new separate thread in "General — Displays, Graphics & More" and gather all your findings there. Also u would get a better response from people.

Re: RTINGS Suggest-a-Monitor

I noticed something different with RTINGS reviews. Did they introduce some changes recently? New data for BFI, new response time tables, 120 Hz performance and more... I'm not sure how was it before. Many reviews are being updated, e.g.: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/acer/predator-xb273u-gx...

Re: Mini Review on gigabyte M27Q-X (gigabyte 240 hz with aim stabilizer sync)

Dam pictures are not great but for those who know how to observe and what to look for, still kinda usable. 240 fps shot is ok and maybe 120. Here's a random edit excluding 60 fps: https://ibb.co/album/SQpTrW. U have the sync track for pursuit camera accuracy in Pixels/Frame mode and can choose betwe...

Re: Gigabyte M32Q Review

I've seen the FI32Q-X review and it most likely uses same vrr strobing implementation as other gigabyte monitors, except its brighter (due to use of longer pulse width - less sharp motion). You still need to set monitor to 85Hz to benefit from strobing at low refresh rates, meaning no latency reduci...

Re: viewsonic xg251g - does anyone have any experience with it?

Its most likely Viewsonic's late release of same panel used for other 360Hz monitors. Expect same performance.
