Re: Best e-sports monitor? (1080p)

Re: All games stutter below 144fps lock. Will pay for a solution.
If refresh rate is not synchronized with frame rate 100% of the time you will see micro stutter and tearing. Is VRR (variable refresh rate) enabled? Try enabling it and cap your frame rate to few frames bellow monitors refresh rate, maybe 138 fps. Additionally you can try enabling vsync or reflex. I...

[Pursuit Camera] CRT
I took my CRT down from the attic and did some quick UFOs. I wanted to do close ups to better capture the motion sharpness of low persistence. Due to resolution and pixel structure reference image is not perfectly sharp like on LCDs, but it's good enough. CRT in question is Fujitsu Siemens 17P4, res...

XG270 is BB Approved but doesn't work with strobe utility.
Idk, XL2546K and similar models work with utility. XL2566K is not officially supported but I see users report it works too.

Re: Are there any decent monitors? Bought 7 already…

Its important to identify the most distracting one so you can start looking for solutions. I'd like to point out that th...

Probably the most suitable one. Whichever panel tech has the least limitation at the time will be first. I don't think that's gonna be TN. The TN production trajectory has fallen down significantly.

Re: TestUFO Suggestions and Ideas
Yes, it is a great database! I do wish more sync tracks was visible, because the accuracy of the pursuits in the database vary widely. Error margins are measurable if the sync track is visible. But sometimes you gotta take what you can get, e.g. a reviewer contributing a pursuit photo that doesn't ...

No probs. Just realized UFO Motion Test Database is full of pursuit camera samples. We could of just checked there if we knew the model name. Btw database just reached 400 monitors!
