The LTT review was painful to watch.
Are these guys blind or something?

Only one guy seemed to understand the effect of higher refresh rates. The dude who mentioned the number of objects in the trail when moving the mouse.

And more importantly, 240Hz is vastly smoother than 144Hz.

What I'm curious about, in order to make motion look as realistic as possible, and given ultra high native framerates from older games with simpler engines / graphics, would be to do accumulation-type motion blur (blending 300 fps into 60 or 120 fps), then BFI those frames. Welcome! The effect I'm hoping for is to get a completely clear movement - in fps games it has to be same clarity when moving camera compared to non moving image. Unfortunately no monitor in existence is capable of that feat. And I can say with certainty that none will be available in our life time....
