Re: Human Benchmark implemented in C++ DirectX9

I went with a 1 second window since I found it easier to maintain maximal focus for that interval, and 3-4 seconds from start since I found starting from 2 seconds I would sometimes be 'not ready' for the change. One can certainly measure at different time spans and the results would be worse. It wo...

Freesync with 190fps on 240hz monitor

Does Freesync add input lag while the FPS is ~25% lower than monitor's max refresh rate? It seems to me in theory with Freesync the monitor should just be drawing empty lines in the VBI while waiting for next frame to enter the buffer, and as soon as the frame is ready the monitor can begin drawing ...

Make sure it says 'READY' in green underneath and not something else. If it doesn't, close other browser windows / enable hardware acceleration on your browser.

Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S/XL2546S Owners Thread

I'd like to know the input lag of the XL2546S with DyAc+ on/off. Little to none if you push the strobe phase below the crosshair area, read this post by Chief: https://forums.blurbusters.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6206&start=80#p51211 So something similar to this https://www.blurbusters.com/wp-content...

That's 182 Hz though. What's the best it can look like at 240 Hz?

Re: 05/22/2020 UPDATE. The IPS 240hz monitor tier list.(I've measured/tried the all) and my honest explanation why.

I'm looking for the monitor that will help me click heads the best in competitive FPS games. I know it's going to be a 240 Hz monitor or higher. IPS / TN is still up in the air. I've been using TN monitors all my life and I don't mind the colors, I just want the lowest input lag + pixel response and...
