Re: Advantages of high refreshrates?

https://i.imgur.com/81swfF3.png Looking at nVIDIA's post above here. See players earlier. Between 144Hz and 240Hz there is maybe 1 or 2 frames of difference. That cant be much in terms of milliseconds. When i measure my reaction time its around 200ms. There is no chance i would take advantage of th...

Re: Terrible Stutter in Tarkov

You sure that stuttering is not coming from your 60fps lock? Considering you got a 144Hz monitor. I also get crazy stuttering if im around half the max refreshrate. EFT has a fps lock which you can unlock by turning on V-Sync inside the game. Strange i know but it actually unlocks max fps. Your spec...

Re: First 1440p 240hz monitor! Lenovo Y27gq

This is a TN panel monitor right? Cause my local shop is advertising it has IPS panel. Guess its 240Hz native on a TN panel? 0.5ms with overdrive seems incredibly fast :o It has received some bad reviews from some customers saying the fans inside the monitor is very noisy . Is that true? Really want...

Re: Asus XG279Q with ELMB-Sync

Valorant where my FPS is very high so i can stay at 165Hz (Max HZ ELMB-Sync works on) i dont see any issues. Strobing, VRR, and especially ELMB-SYNC requires mouse to be 1600dpi+ or 3200dpi+ at 1000Hz to perform its best. Make sure you clean your mouse feet and use a high-rated high-resolution mous...

Tried as well. Had image retention after 5 minutes. But quickly disappeared again. But this is normal behaviour on IPS panels.

Re: Asus XG279Q with ELMB-Sync

I've had this monitor for over a month, great monitor but i see no benefits with ELMB-Sync on. But i dont see much crosstalk at all when i run it at overclocked refreshrates though. In games like Valorant where my FPS is very high so i can stay at 165Hz (Max HZ ELMB-Sync works on) i dont see any iss...

Re: GSYNC lowest input lag i can get for competitive

what if i dont care about tearing and i disable vsync? I dont even notice tearing, i only want to be smooth Also, the V-SYNC option within the G-SYNC range is NOT V-SYNC, but a function of G-SYNC that fully prevents tearing. Strange nVIDIA dont enable V-Sync by default when G-Sync is enabled? They ...

Re: Inconsistent in-game frame rate limiters and vsync.

No way! I trusted the in-game fps limiter as well. Also playing Valorant. Checking now, in-game fps limit to 167. Monitor showing me hitting 170 several times enabling vsync. So i tried setting 160 fps limit in-game and im STILL hitting my max refreshrate 170 several times. Tried setting fps limiter...

Lower unstable frame time vs higher stable frame time

I tested gpu frame time with the new Valorant game. With g-sync + v-sync + fps limiter i get around 5.8ms . But if i remove vsync and the fps limiter my fps goes to around 350 and i see the gpu frame time goes down to 2.2. Its spiking a bit, jumping from 2.2 to 3, sometimes 4. But i cant really see ...
