How important is the framerate cap divisibility?
Maybe a stupid question but... I assume (never actually checked) the numbers 120 and 144 were chosen for refresh rates because they have a large number of factors. A lot of people cap their frames below the monitor refresh. How much does it matter what you cap it to? Does a prime number such as 137 ...

The XL2720Z is also much better in blur reduction mode (better colours and brightness)

Re: BenQ XL2730Z Firmware Update V002
Its fine for me since im on 980ti sli and a 5960x but yeah i wouldn't really recommend the monitor for the blur reduction if you have a weaker system and they don't fix the issues

Re: BenQ XL2730Z Firmware Update V002
Instant mode doesn't seem to make a difference. Here are some shots of the factory panel / nvidia custom resolution CP at standard settings and the max VT i could input (1449 -> 1849)

Re: BenQ XL2730Z Firmware Update V002
Yes Freesync and GSYNC are less noticeable the higher and more consistent your framerate is. You also cannot use them at the same time as Blur Reduction. This is why I am dumping my PG278Q for an XL2730Z even though I have nvidia cards as I find Blur Reduction preferable to adaptive sync as I have a...

Re: BenQ XL2730Z Firmware Update V002
Tried to take some shots but im not sure if my phone camera is up to a motion capture shot, it comes out a bit blurry :) Crosstalk seems a little better than what I remember my XL2720Z with v2 firmware and VT1500 was, it is mostly restricted to the lower part of the screen (about 3-4 vertical UFOS o...

Re: BenQ XL2730Z Firmware Update V002
Well I've been testing this but I can't see much difference in the crosstalk all the way from 1481 VT to 1981 VT (maximum before frequency field turns red) using CRU I've been following your instructions and restarting the driver (and even rebooting) without noticing much change. If i try the Nvidia...

Re: BBR looks bad no matter what (2411z)
I find vsync on is fine for most games as long as my framerate is capped below the limit. If not and left to hit the max frames the input lag can be far more noticeable in my experience.

Re: GTX 980 Ti SLI Severe Performance Loss with G-sync Monit
Possibly a stupid question but are you sure you don't have vsync on with gsync? That means it will limit your frames when > monitor refresh. You should use vsync off for benchmarking (even if you have GSYNC on). The other thing I would suggest is checking to see if there is anything else using the G...
