Re: Recommended settings for SLI + G-Sync?

You can still get some stutter / lag when GSYNC hits max FPS. Limit your frames to 135

Re: BenQ XL2730Z Firmware Update V002

Falkentyne - I'll try this for you tomorrow when I receive my monitor. I'm getting one of these as a potential sidegrade from my PG278Q as I really miss (bright) Blur Reduction that I used to get with the XL2720Z. The PG278Q is great but in blur reduction mode it is so dark. I can probably live with...

Re: Are there any relevant Windows Tweaks?

Close all programs you don't need, close all services you don't need.

If you like you can try using Process Lasso for its gaming mode feature that throttles background processes so they don't 'steal' CPU while you play.

Power -> High performance.

Re: I type faster than my display in desktop mode, why!?

It's not the screen or display drivers. Try closing anything that 'hooks' the keyboard like hotkey programs etc.

Also make sure your keyboard is plugged into USB 2 ports not USB 3. Revert and XHCI BIOS options to default.

Re: NVIDIA 353.06, Kepler fix, ULMB CP toggle + G-SYNC VSYNC

With these drivers, is it still necessary to turn off V-SYNC within games in order for G-SYNC to work? Or is that not necessary since they've seemingly been split into two separate settings? If given the option it is best to turn off in game regardless of your driver setting. Driver settings usuall...

Re: NVIDIA 353.06, Kepler fix, ULMB CP toggle + G-SYNC VSYNC

Because if you hit max fps with vsync off you get tearing and if you hit it with vsync on you get input lag

Re: NVIDIA 353.06, Kepler fix, ULMB CP toggle + G-SYNC VSYNC

Yes, that's the point of the vsync off option. But a better choice imo is just to cap below max fps (135 for a 144 screen)

Re: NVIDIA 353.06, Kepler fix, ULMB CP toggle + G-SYNC VSYNC

If you get windowed mode gsync issues, try the hotfix driver 353.12 http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=399677

NVIDIA 353.06, Kepler fix, ULMB CP toggle + G-SYNC VSYNC OFF

Driver link is here: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/geforce-353-06-driver-download.html Apparently this fixes ropey performance some people have been experiencing with Kepler based cards (600/700 series), for instance people are reporting FPS increases with The Witcher 3: http://forums.guru3d.c...
