Re: News on the ROG Swift (PG278Q)

I received mine yesterday and I can just say it is an amazing monitor, beats my Benq 2720Z (v2) in every regard

Re: g-sync input lag vs XL2411T vs XL2420Z vs VG248QE

Re: XL2411Z V2, my findings so far [settings, VT1500 trick,

You keep mentioning zero crosstalk at 100hz and less but it is still very noticeable to me, although far less at 0.5ms persistence than 2.5ms, always for the top few rows on full screen motion test. Shame we can't set the strobe phase negatively and push it off the top :) So for me at least there is...

Re: XL2411Z V2, my findings so far [settings, VT1500 trick,

My 2720Z seems to also handle 128hz with 1350/1502 just fine (130hz works most of the time too). I've always been sensitive to tearing but now even more so, with blur reduction I'm also noticing stutters more and I find that with this enabled I prefer the gaming experience with vsync on. Re: Firmware upgrade using Linux tool, requires no hardware

Removing 144hz resolutions completely.

Having made the 1350/1502 adjustment and using firmware v2 on my new XL2720Z i can see on the desktop that the display is much brighter and improved during motion however I'm finding many games when run full screen will switch to 1920x1080 @ 144hz instead of the 120hz that I require for these tweaks...
