Re: G-Sync 101 w/Chart (WIP)

I feel a bit lost in a GSYNC technology. Do I understand correctly that with gsync on and vsync off with 2-3 fps cap below refresh rate i will have tearing? To avoid teraing i should use gsync on + vsync on with fps cap 2-3 below? Will i have any input lag with gsync on + vsync on?

Re: NVIDIA may have implemented a synchronous framerate limi

What is "their frame limiter"? U mean NVinspector? If yes i tried it and indeed tear line is static in the bottom part of the screen - so basically dont bother me. But with NVInspector frame limiter (V2) i feel bad input lag (my refresh is 75Hz so i set 75fps). It feels like normal VSYNC ON. When i ...

144hz and stutter

HI,

I have a fast question: will i get stuttering if i set refresh to 144Hz but ingame i will get only 120fps with VSYNC OFF? On 75Hz monitor when i dip below 75fps stutter is obvious.

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz

Thx 4 answers. So basically 240Hz is only for CS, Quake cause its nearly impossible to have stable 240 fps in top graphic games like BF1.

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz

I have a question regarding this monitor: If I would set refresh rate to 240Hz but my game would be able to maintain only 144Hz what kind of perceived motion blur I would see? According to the link posted below it would be 144Hz quality or rather 240Hz? https://www.google.pl/search?q=XL2540+ufo+test...

Re: NVIDIA Fast Sync

I noticed that Fast Sync cap fps by itself. I have monitor with 75Hz refresh and in BF1 with fast sync on I get exactly 150 fps. Hardware is able to push some more fps but its stuck at 150fps. I changed to lower resolution with 50Hz refresh and fps were caped at 200fps. Do I think right that Fast sy...

Re: Make Stroberlight work at 144Hz

I just found videos with that purple tint issue...holy shit thats really bad, couldn't stand such defect. U say that they fixed it in newest versions? I also found on overclock.net thread two ufo test screenshots. This is rather bad http://www.overclock.net/t/1605507/samsung-monitors-of-2016-introdu...

Re: Make Stroberlight work at 144Hz

...If you want strobing at 144hz, without excessive amounts of strobe crosstalk, you will need to buy a Samsung C24FG70...These monitors can strobe at 144hz with zero crosstalk. Hey, I'm interested in this new Samsung model but I can't find any proper test of it. Have You seen this monitor in acito...

Re: instant mode and AMA

Thx for answers. After some testings with MBR ON i decided to leave it OFF. I switched to 144Hz without MBR and did Yours trick with AMA and MBR OFF. It works but...again... do I always need to go whole procedure after every reboot of the PC? In short: 1) turn on PC 2) pick picture mode Gamer2 (mbr ...
