Re: Help me with decision...
One final note: the thing that I am most concerned about with the Z series monitors is their brightness levels while strobing (blur reduction mode). That was a problem for me with the ASUS with the LB hack: it became unacceptably dim. Although you could increase overall brightness by increasing stro...

Re: Help me with decision...
Yeah right now the XL2411Z is the better choice for gaming at any refresh rate, and especially so if you want to use blur reduction (aka backlight strobing ((aka backlight flashing))). The real choice right now, at least for me, is between the XL2411Z and the XL2420Z. The 20Z is $80 more in the U.S....

Re: XL2411Z owners - how's the backlight bleed?
Virtually none on my 2720Z. Keep in mind that backlight bleed is usually caused by warped frames/bezels/mounting errors, etc. Many times, if you've ever disassembled a panel before and are comfortable with the procedure, you can improve bleed by removing the frame, fixing any bends, and remounting....

XL2411Z owners - how's the backlight bleed?
I've been wondering how it compares to the XL2420Z, which had no noticeable bleed whatsoever in pcmonitor.info's review.

Re: XL2720z V2 + BB Strobe Utility = Greatest Gaming Monitor
Yeah the VG248QE felt way too dim to me even at 100%, but it might've been tolerable if the LB hack hadn't ruined overall PQ too.

Re: XL2720z V2 + BB Strobe Utility = Greatest Gaming Monitor
How high did you have to take persistence to get the strobed mode to a satisfactory brightness?

XL2411Z now for sale in U.S. on Benq store
Is the 11Z guaranteed to have V2 firmware if bought from Benq? I'm kinda concerned about their return policy as well.
