Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)
So this technology could be useful at 120hz, but Asus implementation is flawed? Can they fix this with a software update? This will not be fixed since VG25/279QM firmware can't be updated. Technically it should be possible with the USB service port, I think it's more whether Asus finds it important...

Re: Asus vg279qm Help
I am very happy with this version of DisplayWidget, before every time I wanted to play a game I had to mess around with the buttons behind the monitor to set my desired settings but now with a few clicks on the shortcuts of my keyboard I am done, this is so much easier. It is a pity that Asus has no...

Re: Asus vg279qm Help
Just checked other versions. When I open DisplayWidget I get the message monitor is not supported and can only exit the app. Checked OSD and DDC/CI is greyed out (Display Data Channel / Command Interface is a type of communication between the computer and the monitor). I don't know how to enable it...

Re: Asus vg279qm Help
Its a shame theres no software for this model. ASUS DisplayWidget definitely doesn't support VG279QM (and VG259QM). I tried it already. guys I don't know if this has already been discussed here, but the asus display widget works on the asus vg259qm, you can change the color presets, color temperatu...

Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)
Hey guys, the search doesn't give me results, what's the panel name of your VG259QM? I just got a new unit of this monitor yesterday and I'm not sure if the panel is the same. Seems like this unit is a newer batch (Dec 2020, previously had all from Nov 2020 I think). The panel name on my unit is Qi...

Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)
Why would they want to hide the 120OD? I would love to turn it on, but isn't it dangerous? idk much about monitors and etc, but maybe it's killing the monitor way faster or something OD 120 is less aggressive than fully available OD 100 (in-between 80 and 100, it should of been called OD 90). Also ...

Re: Acer XF250Q not very smooth (240hz)
@flouse Anyways, when I am using the XF250Q I disable overdrive settings. @masterblaster but for the life of me I couldnt find any overdrive or performance type settings in the OSD Seems @flouse found the OD settings en turned them off. I would not turn the OD off, the response time speed of the mon...

Re: HP omen x25f blur : disappointed
In mid-2019 I started a search for a new monitor, as a fps player you had little choice and I automatically opted for the TN techniques. I soon found out that I was lucky with my old "Hanns-G HS233 TN 120hz" (almost no typical TN cons) and that upgrading was not going to be that easy. From the LG 24...
