Re: Advice on IPS for gaming
Sounds like you'd really do well to get an IPS monitor. I play Battlefield mostly, a decently fast-reaction FPS, but I love my IPS monitor (Catleap at 120Hz). Whether or not you should get an overclockable IPS monitor such as the Q-Nix / Overlord, or a regular 60Hz model could be decided between two...

Re: 1000hz mouse [Wireless?]
I was to believe Windows 7 was fine for 1000Hz mice, but it was Windows 8.1 that started causing problems? Re: ROLL CALL: Who uses LightBoost=10%?
Convinced another friend of mine to get a new monitor, and he is rocking the Asus VG248QE (had some issues with it at first, all resolved now) and after a few days with it he is using Lightboost 10% 24/7 now. He doesn't seem to think the colors are too washed out (It looked alot better than my other...

Re: Custom Screens, combining several Laptop LCDs for higher
I've updated the OP a ton, let me know if there are any questions at all regarding anything, or if I need to fix anything. As I started reading up, I just kept getting further and further into the rabbit hole ;) Edit: added a tiny bit more, including update to Seiki thread, mikesmod update, and cred...

Re: Custom Displays
Honestly, I'm a little surprised you replied. I took a look, and unfortunately, like I said before, the panels aren't quite what most people would need. The panels are quite small, and very low in resolution, only one of them being 720p and the rest lower. I do not know if any of the other products ...

Re: Screen cut out
Make sure to push it in and really connect. I read that another user felt the cable click into place, but it did not actually connect all the way and they had to push it into place, and that helped with their problems.

Re: Custom Displays
Interesting polashmisra, looking up your username it seems you have registered on a number of forums including arduino.com and diydrones.com, among others, purely for posting links to that site. Unfortunately the products on that site aren't quite what we are looking for though. Not to mention most ...
