Re: Screen tearing and stuttering on gsync monitor
71 views and no help? Nice. I won't assume or blame it on a weak cpu as I never had this issue with my old cpu. Have you tried all of the different combinations of vsync settings betwen the nvidia control panel and the game settings until it possibly fixes it? Set gsync to full screen. Create game s...

Re: Please help, I have an issue with new monitor Aorus FI27Q (black dots dropping down vertically in the middle)
If the monitor is new and it's bothering you that much and you can't fix it return it and get a native 144hz monitor. Someone else just posted having problems with their 165hz monitor (different model). Is your monitor listed as overclocked aswell? Why would you want to use 1080p on a 1440p monitor ...

Re: Dell S2721DGF 165hz causing random micro stutters in games?
There isn't much of a difference between 144hz and 240hz either to be honest. Obviously there is but you'd have to have two monitors set up next to each other to tell the difference. Like you said, it's all about numbers and selling points. I can't imagine the issue being your cpu or gpu so I'd imag...

Off 144hz works then just use 144hz. I don't understand why they bother to make monitors that are 20hz more when you get to those numbers. You won't notice any difference.

Re: old pc had no gsync brightness fluctuation, new pc has
I am using a native gsync monitor (hp omen x25) not the x25f. Well there is 0 brightness fluctuation in cities skylines when loading a city (this city is huge and is used more for a bit of fun to see how people's computers run it) it takes a while to load and despite the frames going all over the pl...

Re: old pc had no gsync brightness fluctuation, new pc has
I have full vrr range. listed for 1 to 240hz. The fluctuation can happen at higher framerates too so like you said it must be to do with a different graphics card or and drivers but then again.. A very important note is that there is one game that it doesn't do it on called cities skylines but I've ...

Re: old pc had no gsync brightness fluctuation, new pc has
I changed the settings in the nvidia control panel for the applications to use application controlled frequency (hz) and changed my games to 144hz instead of 240hz (I notice no smoothness difference as I don't play at such high frames above 144fps anyway) and now it is very very minimal in the game ...

Re: old pc had no gsync brightness fluctuation, new pc has
Sorry I don't know what is going on but this post is good enough lol, thank you for your reply. I am wondering if the gsync brightness fluctation is present due to a recent windows update? I have seen topics about full screen optimization being forced on despite disabling it. I have tried disabling ...

Not sure why the moderator chose this out of my two submissions. Way to go. Anyway it seems to. He better with vsync enabled.

Re: Is there any use for Fullscreen Exclusive mode after 461.09 drivers?
Windows uses fullscreen optimisation and it basically makes your ingame selection of fullscreen into a forced borderless windows mode. You can tick a box to disable it in the .exe but only some old games actually turn it off, most new games it doesn't turn off and you can't do anything about it. I ...
