Re: LG CX OLED vs good pc monitor input lag?
It's pretty much impossible for 23.976 fps film to look good isn't it? You either deal with insane motion blur on panning shots, major flicker, double, triple, and quadruple images, or you use motion interpolation.

Re: Could dlss ai upscaling improve motion resolution in the future?
Probably not as the motion blur problem comes from the monitor itself. This is correct. However, most new games run at framerates far below max Hz of highest Hz monitors (240Hz, 280Hz, 360Hz). Unreal 5 probably won't support 360fps with current graphics detail, without the help of frame rate amplif...

Could dlss ai upscaling improve motion resolution in the future?
Nvidia has made a lot of headway with dlss with the 2.0 release. Future releases say they are looking at implementing it at the driver level in any game that support TAA. My question is, would it be possible to use ai upscaling to improve motion resolution on camera panning in shooter games? That se...

Re: Unreal Engine 4 games flicker with gsync in dark areas
These spikes I dont think are large enough to drop it below the vrr floor. They don't have to drop it below the VRR floor to cause this. For instance, even on a G-SYNC module, with G-SYNC on + V-SYNC off, a frametime spike can cause a tear within the G-SYNC range. It just needs to be an abrupt enou...

Re: Here's why G-SYNC monitors flicker
(or nvidia could just invest more $ into oled) OLED suffers from the same fade-to-equilibrium problem. (In this case, equilibrium on OLED is black), and GSYNC OLEDs will have a minor udulation/flicker during refreash rate variances. How visible the flicker will be, relative to LCD, is the question....

Re: Random screen flashing gsync compatibility LG C9
Hello, I have been searching the internet looking for an answer and I think I have the same issue in games I get a very quick black flicker of the whole screen which randomly occurs I've tried this for multiple games and played around with multiple setting mainly in the Nvidia control panel I don't...

Re: Random screen flashing gsync compatibility LG C9
Hi guys, I know this was a few months ago but just wanted to check up on this. For those who disconnected their C9 from the internet to resolve their Gsync black flicker issue, now that its a few months later has that still resolved the issue or has it come back since? I'm currently testing a C9 us...

Re: Unreal Engine 4 games flicker with gsync in dark areas
It happens at high frame rates too. If you notice that second video it’s running at 116 FPS. I used Ukralne low latency mode so it was calling below the refresh rate. Each of those tiny little bumps coincided with a flicker. Using nvidia a capper made it less frequent than the in game capper, but i...

Re: Unreal Engine 4 games flicker with gsync in dark areas
I don’t have sea of thieves installed anymore but I went ahead and loaded up borderlands 3. I set it to 60 hz and didn’t see any tearing.... Which is strange because it’s usually very noticeable at 60 hz. Frost byte engine games and the pendulum demo year horribly at 60 hz. I don't have BL3, so can...
