Re: Can you select the zone of clarity on the PG27AQN?
Do anyone with this display can tell me if you can choose where to have it? You can set pulse width from 0-100 on the PG27AQN, but that doesn't change where the crosstalk appears vertically, just how long the black frame duration is between each refresh; the lower the pulse width, the darker the im...

Re: Less Motion Blur in 60fps 144hz than 60fps 60hz
What you are describing is what I want to know if it is true. It makes sense that a higher refresh rate helps in motion blur even though you are watching content at less fps, as you said. The only thing a higher than 60Hz display running at, say, 60 FPS will improve where motion performance is conc...

Re: Monitor refresh rate not syncing with fps
First off, both FreeSync and G-SYNC are terms for "VRR." Secondly, G-SYNC Compatible mode on a FreeSync monitor requires DisplayPort, and going by your monitor's manual, that model only supports VRR over HDMI. So, you'd either need to purchase a different G-SYNC Compatible FreeSync monitor that sup...

Re: Asus PG27AQN Image retention issue, is this normal?
My apologies, for some reason I read the title as PG27AQDM and not PG27AQN  No worries, easy mistake. Basically just running this https://www.testufo.com/ghosting#background=000000&separation=160&pps=960&graphics=bbufo-border.png&pursuit=1 for 5 minutes then switching to a fully dark grey pic...

Re: Asus PG27AQN Image retention issue, is this normal?
Would you mind testing it? What are the steps to replicate? Did you try any of the anti burn-in tools in the OSD menu? Like what for example? There aren't any for this model; it's not an OLED. You can run the attached (fullscreen screensaver version of JScreenFix; very old and no longer readily ava...

Re: Asus PG27AQN Image retention issue, is this normal?
I see you also got the ASUS PG27AQN . So this happens to yours as well when you have the ghosting ufo test running for 3 minutes or so? I haven't used the test patterns on this model long or frequently enough to confirm. I got exactly what you pictured on my older XB271HU 165Hz IPS model though. I ...

Re: Asus PG27AQN Image retention issue, is this normal?
Short answer, is typically yes, this can happen on LCD with certain test patterns, especially on higher refresh rate LCD, but it's usually temporary.

Re: Blur Buster's G-SYNC 101 Series Discussion
https://imgur.com/a/0N47wCO These are my performance with v sync + g sync + low latency + frame limit by nvidia. Is it possible to somehow change the delay? I see gaps in the image when the framerate drops to 100-120. 140-180 is normal. This is not related to G-SYNC settings. Please create a new to...

Re: Blur Buster's G-SYNC 101 Series Discussion
Good afternoon, thank you for the guide. I play Hunt Showdown on PC and my framerate is not stable even on minimum settings (120-160 fps), as is the frame. Monitor - Asus PG258Q (g-sync, overdrive, 240hz), video card - nvidia suprimx 3080. After reading the manual, I could not find the settings for...
