Re: How do i setup gsync?

Can you test to make sure that vsync is staying active while you play? Often the easiest way to do this is through a monitor function. There may be an indicator that you can turn on. My monitor has a frame rate display which uses gsync to measure frames. So when my monitor is in 240hz mode and the f...

Re: internet latency

I'm sure much could be done in regards to that. Getting a high quality isp can go a long way. But it's not really an option some places. I could chose xfinity or att in my area and they both suck. Hotwire is way better with 1ms pings vs the other two with 40ms+. But you have to live in certain apart...

Re: internet latency

Yeah I think a video with 2 players overlayed, one representing an enemy clients actual position on his computer with no lag, and the other representing the lagged and lag compensated position as it shows up on other clients with the total network and game latency. It would track fine whenever the p...

Re: Is it possible to make subliminals through refresh rate?

At least using normal refreshes and technology that I know about, I doubt you could make the changes happen fast enough to be subconscious 100% of the time. Even on 240hz I can see tearlines and fine details clearly some of the time. Now that's not to say that you couldnt have extra hardware doing s...

Re: internet latency

This is a common issue. Most games work like this but there are some variations to netcode from game to game that can impact how they play out. The server typically updates each client with the positions and movement of all other players, even if those players are out of view. With any network delay...

20 series and maybe 10 series p0 state forcing.

For responsiveness reasons I use the lowest settings on overwatch and this results in the 20 series cards usually running at base frequency. There used to be a few ways to force p0 state (always max clock) on 900 series cards. But alas none of them seem to work for 20 series cards and I believe the ...

Re: desk ergonomics, proper sitting posture etc.

I know the dx racer chairs can have their backs perfectly vertical and they are flat when you dont use the pillows. Alot of people really like using them like that.

Re: desk ergonomics, proper sitting posture etc.

I sat with no back support at all for a couple years and really liked it. Sat cross legged. It took a good deal of conditioning before I could do it all day. Yoga helped especially the spine inversion poses. Realigns your back and temporarily takes some pressure off. As for monitor position I think ...
