Re: Acer xb271hu - Is this strobe crosstalk?

yeah that's just poor response time. Like most specs "standards" response time is almost useless. It's dark grey to light grey to dark grey. (and or vise versa)? for 90% transition. The most logical test for response time would be black to white to black with 100% transition. Your monitor has fortun...

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]

I'm having an issue with my xg270. I have not checked if there is a newer firmware so the issue may be my laziness. There are horizontal lines across the screen in PureXP mode only. I have restarted my computer and the issue only occurs in pureXP mode. I will attempt to take some photos with my cel...

Re: wierd "static" \ "shimmring" effect ingames.

Are the 3070 the cards having overclock issues due to have RF getting through the capicitors? Open Nvidia control panel click help then click on debug mode to disable factory overclocking. Is the issue still there?

Re: In desperate need of some clarification

I'm sure you're familiar with response time then. The VESA standard for response time is 90%. Some monitors with 1ms response time may have a 10ms 100% response time. Some may have a 2ms 100% response time. If I'm not mistaken rtings tests 100% response time. If they have reviewed these monitors tha...

Re: Viewsonic Elite XG270QG thoughts...

Will have to try but read it has no HDR support. I have put a monitor of the same series in HDR and played Middle-Earth shadow of war in HDR mode. Keep in mind there are 3 different things all named HDR lol. However I did not like the look of the game in HDR mode. https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/...

Re: Properly set 30 FPS with good frametime - what about Vsync?

Changing the Low Latency mode in Nvidia effects almost no games. Windows and drivers both default to a cpu queue of 3 frames. This can cause a TON of lag. To avoid this game developers made their engines use a cpu queue of 1 frame, thus changing it in your driver options will have no effect. This ma...

Hi I had a monitor in the same line but not the same monitor. 10-bit mode only works if you enable HDR in windows 10. Setting the monitor or the nvidia control panel options to 10 bit will have absolutely no effect if HDR is not also enabled in windows 10. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows...

Nvidia 460.89 vsync is fast syncing

Tested in 4 games all on different engines. If I force vsync through nvidia drivers my fps caps at 60. When it drops below 60 it does not go to 30. For example if I limit my fps to 50 it will be a constant 50. Using rtss to force different fps I can confirm that there is never tearing. Is vsync bust...
