Drauger OS - Low lag Windows Gaming on Linux

I come from a small but active and competitive community, that's based on a 20-year-old online First Person Shooter for Windows, that once was quite popular, but now is almost forgotten. There are currently around 1000 monthly active players.

That game is all about getting the best hit registrations and lowest lag.

Recently, one user has caused a stir, by getting very good and consistent hitregs and very low lag - much better than the vast majority - while playing this Windows game under Linux; the Drauger OS distribution, and using WINE. He has posted a video and info about this. He has tried around 10 other popular Linux distros, that gave lackluster results, but when he switched to Drauger OS and did misc. tweaks, the result was very good. Much better than those other Linuxes.

Almost everybody plays this game under Windows 7 or 10, using modern gamer hardware; fast mice, keyboards, monitors, etc., yet gets beaten by somebody using this gaming optimized version of Linux.

I wonder if anybody here has info or experience with Drauger OS and getting high performance and reduced lag for Windows games...

Unfortunately my game to play is csgo and i play it on faceit cuz there are so many cheaters on mm. Faceit only works on win 8+. Also, i think os differ from one another but therr are soooo many windows 10 gamers who have no issue with lag/stutter and they are doing crazy competitive gaming so I don't think os is the main thing to focus on here.

Sounds like huge BS, Im pretty sure this mysterious player and mysterious game , which i assume is quake, isnt getting any better input lag playing via WINE with less fps

He was using that on an old game, modern games wouldn't work because anti-cheat software doesn't work on linux yet.
