Split CPU USB hub into 2?

Post by BTRY B 529th FA BN » 06 Feb 2023, 01:02

Is it possible to split the CPU USB hub into 2 separate CPU USB hubs, or is that impossible? I assume that it can't be done due to electrically how it's wired and how the MB manufacturer chooses to design the board...

you can use 2 different USB Controllers. This is good, if you wanna have less "Keyboard to Mouse interference". Most motherboards have 2 USB controllers. One goes trough the Chipset and one goes directly to the CPU. I like to put my Keyboard on the Chipset USB Controller and my mouse to CPU, for lowest latency and interference.
And no, you cant split one single USB Controller into 2...

I've heard about it on AMD chipsets, but do you know if it also applies to Intel?
