@SixRavens yes of course it is this one: Realtek_USB_Audio_6.3.9600.181.zip and here is the link: https://www.touslesdrivers.com/index.ph ... code=57856 I couldn't get it from Realtek's website because it's written in Mandarin and the translator doesn't work.

@Unixko it's amazing how dismissive you are
I come to share my experience in all benevolence to help others so much this problem wore me out and that I am most happy to have finally solved it and you arrive with your insinuations, that I am anxious to help a person who will be able to attest to it and this end to make you shut your mouth. What do you think that there are only bad people on the internet? You are in my opinion lucky to have the indulgence of the admin of this forum in the eyes of your numerous elucidations, you must probably spit your frustration of not having solved your problem!
It's a pity that the .block function doesn't exist! I don't pay attention to you anymore anyway.
i cant say i dont belive you but after 6 years man? how many new PC did you try? did you play 6 years on one PC? Why CS Go is not working without sound (if disabled in bios)?
There is way more unanswered question. Maybe someone work on power line at your area same day as you try new drivers.....
I try them ( Realtek_USB_Audio_6.3.9600.181.zip ) not help for me....

Watch it -- we have a "Be Nice To Newbies" rule in these forums.

Please dont ever fall for this type of schizophrenic threads. my guy randomly got a moment of smooth game play and thinks some random bs driver is a fix. there is a reason people are suffering for many many years, if i was an admin on this site i would delete this type of threads so people dont get confused or get their hopes up for no reason.
We don't delete these threads because we're... Blur Busters.
The "Humans Can't Tell Apart 30fps vs 60fps" mythbusters.
The "The Amazing Human Visible Feats Of The Millisecond" science.
The 1000Hz+ retina refresh rate advocates.
The "latency death by a million microsecond cuts" building up -- like death by a thousand paper cuts.
We don't dismiss things quite easily -- even if 90% are wild goose chases to red herrings.
Etc.

Now, if people report specific posts that contains very bad misinformation, I will often reply to it to correct the record with some caveats or with facts. Help the Administrator by clicking the exclamation mark icon.

This reduces our workload, since this forum is volunteer-based but follows the Blur Busters temporal-openness philosophies. We are unable to monitor all posts, so if you click the exclamation mark icon, it sends a broadcast notification to the entire Moderator/Administrator team.

Obviously, there's a lot of worthless stuff -- we usually let borderline stuff slip by because there's just too many posts. But we are pretty welcoming on outlier topics because Blur Busters is in the temporal business (Hz, GtG, MPRT, lag, PWM, VRR, stutter, etc) -- all temporal related topics! There's already a lot of evidence of electrically-induced latency problems, but are of the kind that are super hard to troubleshoot.

We often mythbust stuff that originally 99% of people previously didn't believe -- e.g. human benefits of 240Hz gaming monitors.
I will re-phrase your post:

Translation: "There is a lot of wild goose chases to red herrings in these forums, especially the EMI forum, that can confuse a lot of users. It is VERY common to accidentally come up with mis-attributions and get confused. These kinds of problems are extremely hard to troubleshoot, and can confuse people for many years, even though the actual problems are a totally different cause than they expected".

If you continue to use such rude language, a tempban will be awarded to you.

Remember, if a user is posting misleading information, please silently click exclamation mark icon at the top of their post instead. It reports the post to the whole admin team

If you want to upgrade your education, please read the YouTuber/blogger playbook and write longer scientific evidence-based posts of why it is so horrendously difficult to troubleshoot latency problems. Writing short mean posts in place of longer educational posts is not allowed on Blur Busters and continued violations of "Be Nice To Newbies" will get you banned from these forums.

We're not Twitch/Reddit/Facebook/Twitter here.

I finally got my problem fixed and I was miles away from thinking it could be the sound.

I only play cs:go and I had during all these years a terrible game, big latency, the shots which registered very very badly, the enemies which teleport themselves, strange feeling of mouse etc...

It was not related to my internet connection, nor my computer and nor the electricity (I thought for a long time that it could be related to the electricity)

In reality the problem was the Realtek driver as simple as that!!!

Here is how I realized it, yesterday while surfing on the internet, I found a post on ESL where a person testifies of problems similar to mine and a person told him that it could be related to the Realtek driver which here is the link: https://forum.eslgaming.com/discussion/ ... -solid-fps

During all these years I didn't think it was necessary to install the Realtek driver because I have a HyperX Cloud 2 in USB, being in USB and not in jack like an idiot I said to myself that it's useless, oh my God if I had known how much it matters.
To be sure that this headset requires a driver even though it is USB I went to the HyperX website to be sure that it is possible to install a driver and bingo their site says that it is possible to have to install a Realtek driver which here is the link: https://www.hyperxgaming.com/fr/support ... hx-hscl-sr

So between the person who talks about it on the ESL site and the site of the manufacturer of my headset I ran to install a Realtek USB audio driver.

It's unimaginable how different the game is!!! fluid, all the shots register ultra perfectly!!! unprecedented fluidity. I knew all these years that I was not crazy and that something was wrong.

I also did another manipulation to be sure that my 240 Hz screen did not activate G-sync without my knowledge. I downloaded Nvidia Profile Inspector and set it to "Force: off" wherever it said Gsync. But it's not this manipulation that solved my problem, it's the audio driver.

I'm the happiest man in the world (despite the covid restrictions xD)

I spent a lot of time reading this forum to try to detect the cause of the problem but to no avail, I'm very proud today to share this information with you so that if people have similar problems I'll be happy to have helped.

As they say NEVER GIVE UP !!!!!!!!!
Thank you bro. NEVER GIVE UP!!
This worked for me too
After over 6 years bro, more than 6 years
I dont know how it's possible, but finally i dont have input lag.

@Julaibib I am very happy to have helped you my friend!!! Do you see how sound can interfere in the game? isn't it amazing? maybe you could give more details?

@MegaMelmek I didn't try several computers because I didn't have the opportunity in 2016 I parted with my computer and in 2017 when I bought another one I never thought for a second that a USB headset needed a driver ... In the bios the HD audio option is only for jacks.
I installed this driver very late at night I don't see anyone who works in the electrical field intervening at such an hour. Maybe you don't have the answers you want because you misread

@NOH it's not smurf ... this is my main game account, I deleted my old account with Steam

I wish to correct one thing. I didn't realize it but the driver does appear in the device manager on "composite USB device" and the program also appears in program / uninstall program

I'm only talking about a USB driver related to sound! not a driver for USB ports, not a driver for the mouse not the headset firmware etc ... really an audio driver exclusively in USB is important to understand

One question man: i have a g pro x headset. Do you think maybe i could try install that driver aswell? Or is pointless because it only works for hiperX cloud? Could work too? I tried to search on google but didnt find anything about it. Before u installed that driver, on the list of devices there was written MICROSOFT driver?

@MegaMelmek Here are the two screenshots:
One for the driver in the device manager
the other one for the driver in the "uninstall a program" section

As curious as it may seem there is no mention of Realtek in the details but I'm sure it's the one because when I installed it for the very first time in the night of the 17th I saw the date you'll find another screenshot about the hardware modification.
Do not pay attention to the date of the day for the screenshot where the Realtek driver appears in the section "uninstall a program" because I formatted this day

@skkiNN It's up to you to do your research to find out if you can install a Realtek audio driver for your USB, for my part I took a random Realtek driver because their site lacks visibility they have a site that is written in Mandarin and my translator was not working and another where I was completely confused about what exactly I had to download not to mention that I tried to take a driver on the site where it is written in Mandarin but for a file of 30 MB it was going to take hours . ... while I have fiber optics I typed on google Realtek USB driver and I fell on the site I shared or I downloaded the file.
My problem lasted almost 6 years maybe you could take a few hours to know if you need to download one and if so which one.
