For those of you that have the mouse but also opts not to have synapse installed on their system, here's a link to the updater!

For me it still can't save LOD and color settings to onboard memory even with the latest firmware.

Mouse cursor becomes shakey (or maybe even gets locked onto small shakey circle zones) on low dpis with this installed, I had to return the first one i got back to bestbuy because of the update.

Nah I am good as is. You may look forward to submit a ticket to rma the mouse :p there's no software solution and only thing they offer you is to send the mouse in, maybe you will get lucky.

The firmware update didn’t do that to mine, so I’m fine to not, thanks 👍

Sorry didn't meant to come off hostile and be all prenttious and what not,
but if anybody else is reading this, I seriously urge you to not do the update outside of the return window without doing some research . Latest firmware download available is from 2021 and nothing since then.

Only thing it does fix it the occasional need to replug the mouse when you start off cold. It does not add any standalone features to the mouse, nor does it help with cpu loads. Everything leads you to believe updating this is the answer but it really really isn't.

It’s fine, none taken.

But yeah, this isn’t an answer just to clarify, just an official update from 2022, but if it’s breaking devices then it’s probably worth mentioning to the OEM, is anyone else having issue with the update?

Nice, just remember that audio has a major impact on mouse performance in certain circumstances. So if 8k isn't smooth try installing an alternate driver, e.g. high def driver from microsoft...

Although, the recent razer HID driver in windows updates seems to negate the need to do that, which indicates to me they are active working on compat issues... especially considering they removed the option to troubleshoot mouse yet keyboard remains, seems like they know there's an issue but are experimenting to find the fix currently.. fingers crossed they find sauce.. I've personally got a huge company I'm working with investigating the issue and are actively aware of the tracking issue.
