You can't downgrade your mouse to older firmware, I don't think I'm willing to risk firmware updates if I can't go back, even if I really want to try it. The last firmware update introduced that issue and it took them over a year to fix it. Fixed an issue where the cursor will jitter/shutter when the mouse is set to high DPI.
Actually you can. Find the older firmware you want. Run the install sequence. When it says you have the latest already, disconnect your mouse, hold Left Click + Scroll Click + Right Click button and reconnect. From there you should be able to run the old firmware updater. I just did this a few days ago with mine. The trouble is finding an older firmware install.
