Man i just trust you and i will be glad if u can explain me perfectly what you as i said before im not a big expert in these things (as my english). Did u rent ur VPS? Or u made it with linux? I tried chief's 1.1.1.1 vpn and it made ofc an improvement on online games, and i would love try exactly what u did.. @triplesetriplese wrote: ↑14 Jul 2022, 03:57Yeah, of course. Routes confirmed with winmtr traces, so I wrote this thread when info seems not placebo
What do you mean "standard VPN"? In my case I have private VPN with personal 100Mbit or 1Gbit guaranteed channel. If I dont have my 100Mbits in any moment - I can complain, because I paid for it. "Standard VPN" such as free VPNs or like crap what is Fallen advertised (dont remember how its name) - is crap. You cannot complain on its quality, they can oversell traffic, routing is not optimal for your location etc etc.a_c_r_e_a_l wrote: ↑13 Jul 2022, 19:26I don't understand how this differs from using standard VPN, which I already tried and had no difference or even worse.
BTW nobody pushing you to make like I made, so you can continue struggling
Aha, OK. Any name of VPS company or VPN service in my post, are you completely dumb?

2. Wait for login and password which will be send on your e-mail.
3. Login to your VPS via KVM or PuTTy (just copy paste IP, type login and password and you're in).
4. Give yourself root rights with "sudo su -"
5. Update Linux with "apt-get update" https://openvpn.net/vpn-server-resource ... ux-system/
6. Install openvpn for Ubuntu 22 https://openvpn.net/vpn-software-packages/
7. After installation check your link (something like https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:943/admin) login and password, it will be shown in the terminal after installation. Log in and check if VPN is on.
8. Download https://openvpn.net/client-connect-vpn-for-windows/ and Login via URL (the same you used to log in the web browser)
PS. You can also change your passwords just in case. Find out how by yourself, it's not difficult.

Re: How I solved my CSGO "input" lags
This is not input lag ! Input lag is graphical delay. desync is not the same as input lag, but network lag. You can use it to fix your desync if you have it online. But it depends on your location and ISP. Input lag is only hardware related, due mostly to chipsetPlznoinputlag wrote: ↑15 Jul 2022, 22:13did u tried this? its really fixing input lag?a_c_r_e_a_l wrote: ↑15 Jul 2022, 20:461. Re: How I solved my CSGO "input" lags
Believe or not, in source engine its not so easy to differenciate because the input lag and network lag are stacking. So if you play online you cant recognize what part is done at your hardware and what is done by network/server. You need to go offline. Sadly nearly nobody has input lag measure hardware equipment at home (leo bodnar sond, IR sond, 1000fps camera etc-). Its the only 100 percent safe method to diagnose input lag source at least by basic math and measurement with these tools.
But you are right that people commonly mistake delay for input lag and vice versa but in the case of source engine its understandable. The crappy engine mixes everything into one hodgepodge mess... Where everything affects everything. Server affects your mouse feeling, FPS rendering generates your aim as the input is not divided from output and networking, the engine itself has bad (none?) implementation to modern systems and hardware so it doesnt utilize them fully having dead weight 12ms processing lag at any hardware, and so done. And what is most ridiculous is the fact, that the input lag often stacks up slowly with the time for which you run source engine game, sometimes simple PC/application restart/reset resets also input lag. Rumors said, that even source developers admit that the engine is broken and even them dont know how it behaves in so many scenarios and the only solution is to wait for replacement.
Me personally already have given up, if i feel heavy mouse, i restart game or computer or switch server and the game starts behaving differently. Sometimes the aim and movement goes crisp, sometimes not so crisp and sometimes its a bad joke.
What works consistently - low latency at all players, in this case the game runs practically always fine and im top fragger nearly always no matter where its hosted unless its some really crappy server and im simply abusing my 133ms avg humanbenchmark reaction. As there is one or more high pingers, the game turns usually into a pain in ass.

Listen to what DrDisrespect says https://youtu.be/okDN_CY5RNc?t=581 but I recommend to see the whole video. This guy suffers so much that I feel sorry for him.

Type sudo su - in the terminal... it will give you higher access level and you can proceed with updates, installations etc.

Maybe in china goverment is monitoring all users traffic and because of this anyone is disadavanteged?joseph_from_pilsen wrote: ↑15 Jul 2022, 11:55The problem is that you mention csgo, this game has really terrible netcode. In china hardcore players with 4ms fiber and 2ms jitter intentionally use VPN to singapore to have at least 30-40ms like others and not being DISadvantaged.
Ping (or ICMP) is not solid proof for gaming. You can suck with 30ms and be ok with 150ms. At work I have same 50-60 ping as at home, but at home I have big desync.
