Still feeling choppy as of today. However I noticed that this game feels more responsive during nighttime, atm the only way to play this game with a bit of fun. No idea why this is changing around nighttime. Don't suspect it any electricity or internet related since i went to so many houses around the world.

Chief, u got a idea? I'm out at this point
Change pc clock to be night time

Hello guys,

I've been experiencing very bad performance in Apex legends, not fps wise but mouse movement wise. Let me explain, if i move my mouse to make a turn or if i want to aim at somebody it feels so damm choppy.

If i play in firing range mode the issue is gone, all movement seems to be smooth, aiming doesn't suck and everything plays faster then in a normal match. I've been trying to fix this for a year now and I'm giving up at this point. Their forum helpers aren't even helpful and the developers doesn't seem to care, they ignore this issue.

Specs/What I've tried so far:

CPU:Amd ryzen 5 3600
GPU:Gtx 1660 super
RAM:Kingston fury beast3200mhz16-17-17-18-36
MB:Asrock b450m steel legend bios p4:30
PSU:Corsair cv550
------
Things I've tried:
stock windows 20h2
stock windows 21h2
stock windows 7 sp1
125hz, 500hz, 1000hz polling
different usb ports (usb 2, usb 3, front panel)
all devices unplugged except mouse
different mouse, different keyboard, different mousepad
180fps cap, 160fps cap, uncapped fps, 141fps cap, 144fps cap
r5apex low priority, high priority
mouse interrupt cpu affinity
different nvidia drivers
cpu underclock
cpu overclock
cpu stock (stock bios)
hyperthreading on, off
different monitor
entirely different rig (gtx 1080 ti amd ryzen 7 2700x)
Tried legacy mode & mbr
Different power plans
Power saving features all on in bios and off
Updated bios to latest/ used a previous bios version
Used rtss & gsync combo & vsync on
Gpu undervolt
Gpu overclock
Rgb off & led mb
All fans in dc mode & full speed & silent mode
blocked windows updates & driver updates
hags off / on & msi mode on/off
tried pcie wifi card & pcie network card, both from intel
brought my pc to different locations
used different vpn's, warp+, nordvpn, shurfshark, exitlag
used mobile hotspot, 4g+ and 5g (tmobile)
unplugged useless cables in pc
removed all fans
xmp on/off, single channel, dual channel, also overclock it with lower timers
1600dpi/3200dpi
high quality hdmi/dp cable
sftp cat6a cable
used different firmwares on my router, also tweaked a bunch of settings.

I've watched some famous apex streamers and their game seems to be very smooth as far i can tell. Their game is much quicker. Its actually really unfair that I'm dealing with this and other people aren't

Try running apex in exclusive fullscreen. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4WbtrV ... LOBOTOMYtv how to do that. Let me know if it worked or not. (Keep in mind in Apex its not as in other games to enable this feature. Maybe you think u enabled it but chances are its not. U have to test it. )
This is EPIC!
So long i looking for something what fix the "apex legends" wierd stuff. True is, maybe before i find fix, but i forget about it :D. I know you can stop DWM by nvidia inspector (if you are interested i can try find that, but later im now in work) and get rid of full screen optimatization lag. Anyway this fix what this YT guy have is very good. He have new video where he talking about more settings, but the disable full screen optimalization is most needed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kab4Dls4H6o

Now i see the apex got Directx 12 version. I will recommended start apex from this exe. From my feeling testing on 360 hz it feeels so much better response and more cleaner. It's becase directx 12 got fixed fullscreen optimization, so it doesn't do bad thing to apex. The YT guy say it on video.

From this point i will look to another Windows fixs, because i dont know windows can do so bad things to games!

THX blurbusters guyz for this nice tip and made my day better :D

Short:
disable full screen optimalization with registry get rit of most input lag and wierd things in directx 11 apex (normal version)
Directx 12 exe of apex is working good from default.

Your system is a bit on the lower end of things for playing Apex, especially if you're trying to play 1080p. Make sure all video settings are LOW/OFF (except for NVIDIA Reflex: ENABLED and BOOST). Try 720p, it'll look a bit blockier but your GPU will handle much easier.

Its not on the lower end. I'm capable for getting 144fps all the time unless if there are gibby and bang ults
