Look at your GPUZ Bus Interface it is x16 PCIE GEN 1

Go BIOS set your GPU SLOT to PCIE GEN 4

if you mainly play DX11 titles, go with 5900 or 5950. If you are focusing on DX12 the 5800x3d seems to outperform everything.

Huh? No it's set to PCIe x16 4.0 @ x16 x.x is what it currently reports or uses, seeing 1.1 isn't weird and it is not GEN1. It'll turn down and turn up if there is enough load.

"max supported @(at) currently active"
CPU: AMD R7 5800x3D ~ PBO2Tuner -30 ~ no C states
RAM: Gskill Bdie 2x16gb TridentZ Neo ~ CL16-16-16-36 1T ~ fine tuned latency
GPU: ASUS TUF 3080 10G OC Edition(v1/non-LHR) ~ disabled Pstates ~ max oced
OS: Fine tuned Windows 10 Pro, manual tuned.
Monitor: Alienware AW2521H ~ mix of ULMB/Gsync @ 240hz/360hz

Ok. I comment if it stuck at GEN1 He can try with GPU load maybe it is not changing to GEN4

I upgraded from the 3800X to the 5800X, and finally to a 3D. My main game I play is UT4 and occasionally CS:GO. The 3D is worth it without question with both games.

I think in csgo, fps don’t dip down a lot with the 3d right?

That's correct. You get higher minimums.

If you have a high HZ monitor, it's also worth getting 8K Hz input devices.

Is 8k hz mouse worth it for 240hz? And I heard many games aren’t compatible with it, and ppl have issues etc, what’s your experience with it?

As long as you use it @ 8K-Hz @ 3200 DPI you should see an improvement. You're limiting factor will be your monitor with CSGO.

EDIT: also RTINGS ranks it second in click latency at 2.1ms
