These steps are very similar to what I described in my previous topic viewtopic.php?f=10&t=9977
but now you can check it right during the game, there is no need to reboot and remove the mouse driver.
1) Unplug the mouse.
2) Clear the registry of old devices https://www.usbdev.ru/files/devicecleanup/ (press f5 to refresh and f10 to move)
3) Plug mice and fell better.
I have no idea why this is happening.
Maybe after affinity, the mouse driver still accesses the 0 core, maybe something else, I would like to know about it.

I get your previous posts (be sure "mouse device" to be on top, before keyboard devices) but I don't understand this one (the current post).Slender wrote: ↑04 Sep 2022, 21:49These steps are very similar to what I described in my previous topic (viewtopic.php?f=10&t=9977),

Re: Fix mouse unsmooth after usb driver affinity
the keyboard position in tree doesn't make any sense now, as it used to, because now we can just delete it. I also advise you to do the same with the keyboard, perhaps with the rest of the devices too. In any case, I am waiting for feedback from people who can bring clarity to this issue.DPRTMELR wrote: ↑04 Sep 2022, 22:11I get your previous posts (be sure "mouse device" to be on top, before keyboard devices) but I don't understand this one (the current post).Slender wrote: ↑04 Sep 2022, 21:49These steps are very similar to what I described in my previous topic (viewtopic.php?f=10&t=9977),

Re: Fix mouse unsmooth after usb driver affinity
try microsoft drivers AND intel drivers, test the one you are not using.
after you change the driver, you have to reboot or things get screwy.
install different driver -> reboot -> test task manager first maybe? -> set affinity - > reboot -> check again

Re: Fix mouse unsmooth after usb driver affinity
Yeah same lol. I can't find it either even though I was able to find it off of google just a few months ago. At the time of desperation I was switching between some sets of usb drivers and it involved changing pci express root complex, root hub, and xhci drivers at the same time to switch back and forth (to a same .inf file iirc, maybe someone knows what I am talking about).
But I have no idea where I got it from sorry. it could've been a repacked driver from some forum I can't recall, or maybe it was from a lenovo/dell's support page that I force installed by following some guide somewhere, I just can't remember. I only brought it up because it's something you can try but I just stopped caring completely since the last time, anyway sorry for about the confusion.

no some forums I got them from had much more basic older styled forums, like the one we are on now.
