I think you're referencing DLSS, where artificial/predicted frames are inserted using an algorithm in conjunction w/ AI to increase overall FPS. AMD does the same thing, it's just called FSR where an algorithm is used to render additional frames for upscaling.I believe the way nVidia is going is really going to drive people nuts in this community. It seems they are in a way artificially inflating their FPS. By inserting frames into the render queue using AI, I don't see how this can not slow down the cards. If you're getting 240fps and 1/3 of those frames are made up who cares that you're getting 240fps unless its for the motion or its so fast its not perceivable which based on an nvidia engineers saying they are using reflex to mitigate this just seems to indicate its adding latency.

In regards to DLSS causing latency, I was actually conversing about this w/ a buddy and he came across this video stating DLSS does in fact add latency.

The good new is that these technologies aren't default or forced. You have to enable them, so you have the option not to use it.
