I set it to 0.5, and it gives me 0.4966 using ISLC
if you set 1ms, what value islc or timertool v3 show?
any bcdedit settings?
If I set it to 1, it gives me 0.9983 and gives me slightly worse DPC latency on the latency checker, though slightly more stable I think?
my am4 have 0.9996 timer.
hmm, am5 change it to 0.9983, strange.
0.9996/0.9999 best timer pick, always stable.
try to use for test:
bcdedit /set useplatformtick yes
it lock timer to 1000/500, but use RTC tick.
The DPC latency generally bounces a lot, typically it's sitting at around 15 micro seconds (or is it nano? The little u symbol), sometimes it jumps to 500 though when I am opening new applications or something is happening in the game, some games can maintain it at 15 micro seconds, other games I've seen it jump around to 500 more often.
