Razer 8khz unstable polling rate

Post by Xen0m » 13 Nov 2022, 09:54

Hello there,

I swap my 5900X for an 13900KF but all my USB port seems to be really unstable no matter what i've tried to do to fix it.

13900KF 8P core only
Z790-P ASUS PRIME
6400 DDR5 CL32

My 8khz graph looks insane...
https://gyazo.com/ec86455dd97ceb47c44384a102f963ae 8KHZ
https://gyazo.com/5e53285262c42906a089461999baf57f 4KHZ
https://gyazo.com/ad8a182132a00e6872cecf97257a2be7 2KHZ

I don't have my old graph but in my mind it was lot more stable on 5900X

I did my best to optimize my drivers and so to help but nothing seems to work

So if you have any idea that could help it would be nice :D

Have you tried a good PCIe USB port card?

Sounds like Audio or Networking is in the same path as the mouse is.

What kind of Keyboard do you have? If you can change the polling rate e.g. 125Hz, set it to that and then retest your mouse.

What about USB Power Settings? have you disabled the powersaving features? e.g. Selective Suspend etc
