Mouse input lag/ floaty and heavy help/discussion :)

Hi, ive been having this Mouse delay floaty heavy feeling issue for a long time now. My PC specs are AMD Ryzen 7 5800x 3.8GHz Processor |
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070Ti Graphics 8GB GDDR6X | 32GB DDR4-3200 RAM MotherBoard x570 Steel Legend. I live in US,ohio i say this because i know some people have issues that are caused by area they live in so i put this aswell :).

I had a previous pc with decent specs and had thought dropping under 120 fps had caused the input lag/delay feeling. After buying a new pc and more learning i realized this was not the cause.

Doing certain things like deleting drivers and reinstalling can make it feel better for short time, sometimes it doesn't make it feel better. Full windows reinstall can make it feel good for whole day but then it goes back. The thing is, no matter what i do, it can feel better then it goes back. I just bought a good serge protector that also has grounded protection. My pc felt different and i was happy but it didn't feel how i thought it should, but none the less any progress made me happy as i would be able to play better. It felt good for 20min then it went back to horrible slow delayed heavy feeling.

Having this issue makes me depressed because i know what i am capable of and i want to see what more i could do and what level i could compete against. It sucks not being able to fulfil my full potential and i am scared i will never fix this and will never be able to show my full potential.

I deeply feel for people who were never able to find a fix. But i will do whatever it takes to find a fix and i hope we can all find a fix for our issues and can show what we are capable of because it is not fair to us if we cant. If you want to message me my discord is m o n t i#1937, i would love to talk with anyone and our similar pc issues :). Don't give up because I wont and you shouldn't. DONT GIVE UP!

Hi, please verify your mouse is not being put to sleep by Windows:

download/file.php?id=3095

What kind of mouse? With/without drivers?

Make sure the mouse sensor is clean, sometimes a piece of hair or something else small can get stuck in there and cause random issues.

I have Logitech G Pro X Superlight wireless and i think it has drivers but am not 100% sure. I also have made sure i turned all those power management stuff off in the past :)

Any difference between wired/wireless performance?

I have a Viper Ultimate and never felt like wireless performed as well as wired, so I use it wired when gaming.

Can you try fps_max 120 in console and see if the issue remains?

I don't think so, many PROs using wireless devices on lan tournaments nowadays

I wasn't generalizing, I'm asking about his mouse and how it functions in his environment.

sorry for late response but its weird, good then bad, somedays better then others, some whole days just bad, but one thing is it always slowly gets worse, i have heard bad things about Logitech wireless items having interference.

I noticed my wireless mouse doesn't last very long before needing a charge. It could be a battery issue. Have you tried using it while plugged in for a while, to see if the randomness goes away?
