I run 8k in the usb 2.0 slot. 99% of games run it fine.
There is the issue of having discord running minimised which affects certain games like overwatch, but once FULLY terminated is resolved.
Am currently playing ffxiv, and it’s butter at 8k from the 2.0.

Has anyone had connection issues with their Viper 8K?
I've had mine for close to a year now, and recently it will randomly disconnect. Windows makes the "USB device unplugged" sound, no mouse buttons work, and the LED on the underside flickers. It will randomly reconnect, anywhere from seconds to hours to days later.

I have tried:
- connecting the mouse to a different PC
- connecting the mouse to different USB ports (USB 2.0 and USB 3.0)
- connecting the mouse to a PCIe USB hub as the sole device
- updating mouse firmware
- updating Windows
- restarting PC
Nothing so far has helped.
