Question to CSGO players who use xl2546k

Turn on dyac, do fps_max 290 in console and move your mouse around very quickly ingame. Does your game look stuttery or is it smooth?

Im playing 1600x1024 stretched

Scaling GPU

FPS capped at 500

DPI 1600
Mouse sens ingame 0.4425
Equal to eDPI 708

I read in another post that Chief recommends an EDPI of 800. Because some roundings in the math csgo does.

So Im considering going DPI 800, ingame sens 1.

Im also not sure if capping fps at 500 is good

My computer cant withhold 500 fps all times.

In playing on xl2546k

Only integer multiples will be smooth at 240Hz
-240 fps, 360, 480...
290 fps lock will not be smooth at 240hz. You need a 280Hz monitor. and even on it 280 fps will be smoother than 290.

Yes I understand that but that's not what I asked. I don't want to hear technical explanations, I want you to follow these specific directions. The people who have been able to follow my directions reported and I quote "buttery smooth" "no stutters". Let me break it down again:
Step1. Turn on dyac
Step2. fps_max 290 in console
Step3. Move mouse around ingame
Step4. Report back with your own personal results.

fps_max 300 work worse on new ver csgo
try quake 250/333 fps (251/340fpsmax) or use 400/500/999.
300 feels "laggy"

i have the same monitor, i7 12700 rtx 3060 32 gb of ram 3200mhz a gpro superlight and a gpro tlk

i put fps max 290 and dyac premium, yes the game feels stuttery as fuck.
also, it kind of feels slightly "faster" for some reason.

Finally someone with a real answer. What do you normally cap your fps at?
