Specs: 1080ti, r5 3600, 16gb 3600mhz cl16
Have you replaced the thermal paste on that 1080ti? The paste on my 1080 when I replaced it 2 years ago was dry and powder-like, causing it to thermal throttle and stutter in high FPS games. After replacing the thermal paste it returned to normal performance.
I got a 3060ti now

I'm the OP just on a other acccount :P
Did it fix your problem?

Its still choppy but better. Best improvement came from my new psu. With my previous psu i was daisy chaining the gpu cable. Now with my new psu i'm not. I think that made at least the biggest improvement

If the other games you play are perfectly fine then it's Apex legends problem, actually many games suffers from microstutters and it's not the user's fault, I remember when I played Apex since like more than a year on GTX 1060 it had no microstutters, maybe they missed up with new updates.

Yeah, i'm not the only one here.

I'm actually concerned that when they implemented nvidia reflex, shit went down hill. Because before the driver when they implemented reflex. It felt smoother and frametimes aren't janky.
