Just created an account to reply. I am having a strange issue, it appears that, no matter what value I input into it. Nothing changes. It no longer works for whatever reason. Is there an explanation for this?

It noteworthy that using "bcdedit /set disabledynamictick Yes" in Windows 11 seems to cause "% Processor Time counter" based measurements to be broken. As a result Task-Manager's "Details" tab, Resource Monitor, Process Lasso and Process Explorer report 100% all-core load as 3.125% (100 / 32 logical cores) and lower load is hardly measurable. I also totally expect any system/algorithm based on such a counter to fail working propelerly then.

Tried a couple of tweaks so far and the game feels sluggish at some times :/
Post specs of your system including ram.
Rtx 3080

2333 cl18 is this a joke?
Throw out your RAM.
Your processor stutters because of crappy RAM, its pipeline is idle.
Your processor needs at least 3600cl16, ideally 3800cl14-14-14-14-28 cr1. Only in this case, you will experience a truly smooth game.
Remember a simple rule - for a perfectly smooth game you need perfect RAM with good timings and high frequency.
The second rule is to turn off all the energy savers in the BIOS. (c state and D3 and others).

In this case, do you know whether 4x8 or 2x16 would be better ?

2333 cl18 VERY likely means he just didnt turn on the xmp/doc profile and the motherboard is running the shittiest timings just to post.

No brand sells 2333 cl18 sticks, never did and never will.

Cl18 gives a tip its a 3600 ram actually, as cl18 is an usual timing for 3600 sticks specs.

2x16 is preferred. They are easier to overclock and have fewer compatibility issues. What swings FPS, then 2x16 show a little more FPS than 4x8.

Thanks for the reply mate :)
I just ordered 3600mhz CL16 on 2x16 GB. I will check out if it works better then my current 4x8GB.

I have 5900X and for this CPU 4 dimms are better. As far as I remember, CCDs are related to that. Your 5800X 3D is 1 CCD, while my CPU has 2 CCDs.
I bought 2 kits G.Skill 3200 CL14 and overclocked it to 3800 CL14 and other timings are tighter than original. I had to increase voltage to 1.52V, but I slapped a cooler on the RAM so it's fine, it stays super cool.

Going from 3200 to 3800 made noticeable bump in performance in games.
