AM5 Socket / 7000 series CPU Discussion

Post by I LOVE TIN FOIL » 04 Jul 2023, 18:54

Im really disliking the current intel prices and was wondering about new Gen AMD, if they are on-par or better than intel input lag wise - or are they plauged by the same issues?
Any timer issues?

for my ingame mouse feel, my 5800x is much better then z690/z790, also amd dont have any problem with timer, all work good by default, but with nvidia gpu gameplay maybe feel like you play 60hz with 360hz monitor, but mouse feel is 100% better on amd.
Maybe reason because amd have usb in cpu, idk.

I just bought that M.2 to USB 3.0 header adapter so that i can bypass the chipset. I'll see if there is a difference or not.

That's nice! But you need only NEC v2 chip.
this is best way to connect mice to cpu on intel platform.

if you use ryzen, yes. To perfect gameplay with that cpu you need radeon card.

New discovery lol. Maybe in apartments with abnormal input lag and desync of the gameplay. This is not required in normal locations. You can look at streamers or pro players. They have everything perfect in a bunch of AMD cpu and nvida gpu.
