Custom Scaling Question

Post by Vocaleyes » 13 Jan 2024, 16:16

Hi there,

Just quickly wanted to ask what the reasoning behind custom scaling feeling different than fixed increment scaling would be?

For example, using 100% scaling *preset* feels more responsive compared to 100% scaling as a *custom factor*.

Cheers fellas

Can you describe it in more detail and bring some pictures?

Hey there, so it's best to check for yourself, unfortunately pictures won't really show anything.

In a nutshell, the preset 100% feels more responsive compared to custom 100%.

It enables “win8dpiscaling” in registry I believe, so you could check it back to zero (off)

Need more infos. WHERE exactly do you set a custom resolution? I know it's possible in Nvidia Control Panel and in AMD Software. But where do YOU set it?

Right click desktop -> display settings.

There you have the option to chose between 100, 125, 150, 175%, Or use a custom number.
