Trying to get consistent frametimes but Afterburner does not report averages correctly

Post by Manimal 5000 » 25 Feb 2024, 19:43

I have spent so much time on this but, Afterburner only reports the very last sample of a benchmark session for avg framerate/.1%/.01% instead of averaging. So it's not averaging. The monitor graph verifies this. Of course these number mean nothing for me just trying to get good frametimes. I've done a clean install for Afterburner with Riva Tuner (all fresh settings). I wonder how I could be reading it wrong? Anway hope you guys know. thx

Adding this if it helps,

I will look into that as I have fiddled with Afterburner for too long. I wouildn't thinka whole lot of influential people are reporting incorrect benchmarks with Afterburner. Must be me or an incompatibility issue.
