Does unplugging PSU for a couple minutes help with input lag?

Post by benjji1 » 10 Apr 2024, 09:42

Was just checking if my psu cables were properly seated and after unplugging the psu from the wall and unplugging the cables coming from the PSU and the first boot afterwards the mouse was seemingly more responsive, is this placebo? after restarting it went back to how it usually is. Dont know if anyone else experienced this so im making this post.

when you go sleep, unplug all power cables (monitor / pc).
in the morning connect all and try to play

100% placebo.
Can you prove that it is 100% placebo? I am 100% sure that you cant prove it… So why you answer like this?

Yes i can.: PC connected to power outlet can be damaged with static, lightning and so on even tho that PC will be brand new and never powered ON. So that dude claim his mouse is smoother when he disconnect his PC from power outlet is realy possible…. Prove me wrong now with your placebo claim… How is PC separated from power lines?

Hey, i have the same issue where if i unplug PSU for couple min/hours input lag is basically gone for a some times then it slowly comeback, does this mean the input lag is related to bad electricity? Or it could be something else? i already replaced everything in my computer except GPU.
