Petition for awareness

I’ve had enough of this. We as users shouldn’t have to be technical experts in order to regain basic mouse functionality.

Sign and share if you’ve been affected or know someone that has, hopefully this will at the very least show we care more about performance than style to developers for future reference.

Do you even fill "Petition to" field?
What's the point, if it is not addressed to anyone?

All fields available were filled in accordingly.

“Petition to” wasn’t a field that exists.

I think the petition is still incomplete to be published . Consider adding some additional, advanced info or famous links docs, forum topic etc (like mouse / inputlag is killing me).

And, at the same time, keep it simple, so many people can understand it and don't read much, before sign / skip.

To reiterate, I have filled in the entirety of the available options. Thanks.

Of course the alternative is to continue what we’ve all been doing for several years, which has gotten us no where whatsoever.

Trying something different is better than doing the same thing over and over which has yielded 0 significant results.

I’m attempting something different. If you don’t want to sign, don’t. But consider the alternative.

Chances are nothing comes of it, but with a good amount of signatures and attention, there is a possibility. Which is more than we have currently. At the very least we could get developers both of hardware and software in the future to ensure that performance takes priority instead of style, which would be a win.

Cheers.

You won't really get anywhere with it. The real problem is identified in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9TgNFu1l3Y I have had very little contact with this video maker, and this is surely the same problem that we are all here for. Jagged edges, low lod, pop-in, shimmering, floaty mouse feeling, hitreg issues, desynchronization - it all comes down to one problem. The problem with all this is that Intel ME or AMD PSP is said to be blocked and damaged, so the computer does not work as it should. This cause problems between the CPU and PCH bus. Worst of all, it is very difficult to solve. It is detailed in the video comments.

Interesting video, it seems that it is based upon theory that Intel me isn’t starting. Would you kindly guide me how to check the service is started like in the videos screenshots. That way I can check if indeed our symptoms match with regard to management engine failure.

In the meantime I wonder if the validity of this theory could be commented on by chief or mods? As it far exceeds the surface level knowledge I possess.

Never mind, it was pretty simple to find.

And looks like the person from the video may be on to something.
