I concur but the effect is probably not related to the 2ms or so of signal processing input lag present in high end 120hz displays.

clearly it has something to do with the rolling illumination present in crts.

perhaps the stronger instantaneous illumination associated with a crt's beam (vs an lcd's constant backlight) results in stronger neural impulses?
