Weird lag problem/solution on Windows 10

Post by MTSJ » 16 Apr 2019, 12:38

I reduced my desktop refresh rate to 24Hz and resolution to 800x600 and maxed out my monitor refresh rate in-game and it gave my game (Overwatch) an improvement in responsiveness.

Preferred refresh rate has to be Application-controlled in Nvidia Control Panel (I don't know about AMD), the "Highest available" Preferred refresh rate option doesn't work (and it's forced ON by G-Sync if you don't change it).

Edit: it has to be placebo

I can detect a strong case of placebo :-)
